How long is the Update delay? My kids Kindle has the Star Wars screen BUT my pc gives me the 50th Anniversary screen. The Microsoft store doesn't show the update either.

Got this response from customer support: Hello, Thank you for contacting Gameloft Customer Care and for your interest in the game. We apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. I would like to inform you that our development team is aware of this problem and is already working to resolve this as quickly as possible. As a gesture of our profound appreciation for your patience, we will be rolling out compensation to those affected after the update becomes available on Windows. Stay tuned for more information, and do continue to keep us posted about your experiences. I hope all you Windows players can still play without the Update.
I decided to go to the OTHER SIDE and ask for their assistance as well. So, go to the Microsoft Feedback site and UP-VOTE "cannot get newest game update". The more brainiacs working on this the sooner we can participate. In the meantime I will be adding magic to my total so I can open more land!

I can still play my game.
As of this morning, Downloads and Updates at Microsoft Store will not even load.
I tried to post feedback, but that froze up as well.

A lot of (5 I think) updates from the store are not loading for me either. My game loads (with a new ID) and I am playing BUT also taking a lot of screenshots in case GL needs confirmation. I have also discovered that I have the Patch Notes and stuff for the Update but still no update. If my memory is correct, the Microsoft Store should show the NEWEST Disney Magic cover screen. I keep checking and they still do not have the Star Wars screen for the game.

"We regret to inform you that the update has not yet arrived for our Windows users, due to ongoing issues within the Microsoft Store. We sincerely apologize for the delay, and thank you once more for your patience and understanding.
To provide some insight as to what kind of compensation will be rolled out as a result of the delay, Windows users who could not access the event as a result of the delayed update will receive milestone rewards equivalent to the amount of time missed, including non-premium characters. More details will be given once we have more information on the update.
Please keep an eye on Facebook & Twitter for further news, and again we thank you SO much for your continued patience"
That was this morning....I saw postings from other players that they have gotten the update, as of this afternoon.
Microsoft Store updates still are not loading for me.

Just got the update this morning. No gift yet though so I cannot comment on what that will be.

Still stuck here with no update...now can not even load game...get prompt to update game, takes me to the microsoft store but clicking on the install button does nothing. Going to microsoft store directly and clicking on downloads and updates all I get is a spinning circle. I have posted on Discord, hopefully Amanda Or Tasha will answer my call for help.
